I need to catch a proper club type neo soul gig, ive been to a couple of hiphop ones and ive been to countless dj sets, but never once to a neo soul gig. I mean they dun really have much of that here in the mainstream populated entity we call a music scene. in singapore. I guess i cant actually blame the citizens of our sunny shores for being ignorant, but well, it does dampen my spirits though.....

Some songs jus express your present thoughts without u even realising it....
I listen to a whole lot of oasis songs, cos my best frens are prolly thier biggest fans, and dun get me wrong, i do appreciate the music. The thing abt oasis that usually strikes me is that whatever Noel writes or sings on jus usually turns to gold. This is best example i feel, the genius that is, Noel Gallagher....
Its quite easy to be melodramatic, and its easy to wallow or whine in songform i guess, but although there are melodramatic cadences, theres just something uplifting abt this song, and this performance kinda brings that element out, simply put, its a song that should leave u in tears but instead it leaves u smiling.....
U gotta love how he's bringing it all back to the Death Row era, its not something i can relate to, u knoe, calling someone vato or esay, but back then, i felt it was the coolest thing ever....
This vid kinda got me back to that feeling, i guess....
